Kinomoto-juku, Kitakuni Kaido

It flourished as the gate town of Jizoin Temple and was an inn town where the Hokkoku Kaido and Hokkoku Wakiwokan roads intersected. It was crowded with travelers and visitors to Jizo-san in Kinomoto. Until the beginning of the Showa period (1926-1989), Kinomotojuku had a stream running through its center and willow trees planted, retaining the atmosphere of an inn town.
