Oku-Biwako Campground is located near Lake Biwa, where you can enjoy a sense of oneness with nature. This campground is open year-round, even in winter, and allows the use of permanent tents and camping with pets. In addition, visitors can come empty-handed and enjoy a variety of activities, including bass fishing, fishing, boat rentals, insect hunting, and lake bathing. Outdoor equipment rentals are also available, and there is a dog run space where you can play with your dog. The newly opened Lake View Zone is a camping zone with a spectacular view overlooking nature-rich Lake Oku-Biwako. This area is available from April 1 to the end of November, and visitors can enjoy the sea of clouds, beautiful night sky, sunrise and moonrise. All sites have access to power (for a fee). Rates are 2,200 yen per night per adult (junior high school students and older), 1,100 yen per night per child (elementary school students), and 1,100 yen per night per vehicle.
