Former Nagahama Station Building
The Old Nagahama Station Building is the oldest station building in Japan. This two-story Western-style building was constructed in 1882. It was modeled after the Shimbashi Station of that time. The Nagahama Railway Culture Museum exhibits valuable railroad materials. There is also a model train driving corner in the museum. In addition, the Degoichi and ED70 electric locomotives that were actually used on the Hokuriku Line are on display at the Hokuriku Line Electrification Memorial Hall.
